Flutterwave, the Nigerian payments fintech, has promoted over 100 employees globally and introduced employee support packages as it commemorates its tenth operational year. This move follows the company's acquisition of a microfinance banking license in April.

Approximately 25% of Flutterwave's global workforce received promotions, according to a statement from the company. The new support initiatives include cost-of-living adjustments, tax support for employees in Nigeria, and a one-time economic relief payment for employees across all its global operations.

The company, which did not specify the levels or functions of the promoted staff, has been expanding its financial services offerings, evidenced by its recent microfinance banking license in its home market. These talent retention efforts coincide with the company's milestone anniversary, aiming to support its workforce amid evolving economic conditions.
