What we collect
Payments Africa News collects only one piece of personal information: your email address, and only when you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter.
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics that collect personal data. We use Vercel Analytics, which collects anonymous, aggregated usage data (page views, country-level location) with no personal identifiers.
How we use your email
- To send you our weekly news digest
- To send occasional alerts about new funding rounds in African fintech
- To send a short welcome sequence when you first subscribe (4 emails over 2 weeks)
We will never sell, share, or give your email address to any third party for marketing purposes.
Email delivery
We use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to send emails. Brevo processes your email address solely to deliver messages on our behalf. Their privacy policy is available at brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.
Unsubscribing and data deletion
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it immediately removes you from all future emails.
If you want your email address permanently deleted from our database, send a request to [email protected] and we will delete it within 7 days.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for operational purposes. See Vercel's privacy policy.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page. We will not retroactively use your data in ways not described here without your consent.
